Delusion kills thirty-six
The suspect of a deadly attack in July 18 on a Kyoto
Animation Co studio was interrogated by the police. He was interviewed for the first time on November 9 because he had just woken up after recovering from many burns.
The suspect acknowledged the facts. He voluntary
caused a fire that killed thirty-six people and injured thirty-three others. The suspect, Aoba, aged forty-one said he thought the studio had stolen items from one of his novels.
Aoba sent two novels to Kyoto Animation. Novels that
had not passed the preliminary selection because they were in the wrong format.
The studio stated that there was no similarity between the material of his novels and its own works.
The police are waiting for Aoba to recover before
arresting him. He told the hospital staff that he expected to receive the death sentence.
Kyoto Animation is known for artworks such as K-on! and The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya which illustrates the daily life of high school students.

Le suspecta reconnu avoir volontairement provoqué un incendie qui a causé la mort de trente-six personnes et blessé trente-trois autres.
Aoba, quarante et un ans, a déclaré avoir mis le feu car il pensait que le studio lui avait volé des éléments d’un de ses romans.
Aoba avait envoyé deux romans à Kyoto Animation. Romans qui n’avaient pas passé le test de sélection car ils étaient arrivés dans le mauvais format.
Le studio a déclaré qu’il n’y avait pas de similitude entre le contenu de ses romans et leurs propres œuvres.
La police attend qu’Aoba se rétablisse pour l’arrêter. Ce dernier a déclaré au personnel hospitalier qu’il s’attendait à être condamné à la peine de mort.
Kyoto Animation est connu pour des œuvres telles que K-on! et “La mélancolie de Haruhi Suzumiya” qui dépeint la vie quotidienne des lycéennes.
