On Sunday 23 October, an explosion took place in a
park of the city of Utsunomiya, north of Tokyo.
A car exploded in the parking-lot and set fire to
another car killing one person, aged 72 and injuring two others, aged 14 and
64.
The house of the victim was destroyed by fire before
the explosion while one of the burnt cars belonged to him.
The police found a suicide note in his sock, which read
"I will atone by taking my own life". That's why the journalists
think he must have deliberately burned his house before the blast, and then
killed himself with a bomb.
At the time of the blast, a festival was held in the
park. A witness said he heard a "big sound" and smelled gunpowder
after the explosion.
The park will be closed while the police investigate.

propagé à une autre.

Un autre
incendie s’est déclaré dans la maison de la victime peu de temps auparavant et une
des voitures brûlées lui appartenait.
La
police a trouvé une lettre dans la chaussette de l'homme où était écrit
"J'expierai au prix de ma propre vie". C'est pourquoi on pense qu'il
a volontairement mis le feu à son domicile avant de se donner la mort.
Dans le
parc avait lieu une fête, un témoin dit avoir entendu un "bruit énorme
" et senti une odeur de poudre à canon après les explosions.
Le parc
restera fermé pendant la durée de l'enquête de police pour déterminer les
circonstances exactes du drame.
